Radio Netherlands super-smart show, "The State We're In" posted their "Episode 2" for free download in MP3 format. It is a 1 hour show that features an interview with Tom Simon (aka me) and Brenda Lagrimas regarding our Matchingdonors.com kidney match made in heaven.
Our segment begins at the 12:40 mark of the program, and lasts a little over 7 minutes. Later in the show, an evolutionary biologist tries to explain why I did what I did as if I were a chimpanzee throwing poo at the wall of my cage. Wierd.

I was able to download it into my computer (and my iPod) by following the following steps:
1. Go to the link above
2. Right click on the "Listen to the Show (MP3)" link
3. Choose the "Save Target As..."
4. Download the MP3 file into your computer
5. After the file downloads, open it in your favorite media player program (iTunes, Windows Media, etc.)
Alternatively, here's the direct link to the MP3 file. I couldn't make it work, but maybe you'll have better luck:

I'm very pleased with the way Radio Netherlands edited the program. Let me know what you think!

Hello Tom
I am a RNW website visitor. I heard and read about your kidney donation on the programme. You have done a very good deed indeed and it comes as a very pleasant surprise in our world where people are baying for the blood of their fellomen in most parts of the world.I personally appreciate your donation to strangers though honestly I won't be able to do this though I have donated blood a few times for strangers .You and your family are very brave.God bless you always with great health.
Hello Tom - I heard of your kindness and generosity. Thank you - this has inspired me to further put myself out there as a donor. My father has MS - and I often think - if only there was a cure and someone could help - If only... In his case - it can't at this time. However, his plight has encouraged me to register for bone marrow donation - and I will also register now for this cause. Thank you for your generosity and your courage. May you, and your family, be blessed with good health and happiness. Thank you for what you have given. Regards. A
